Senior Pets Have Evolving Needs
Just like humans, dogs and cats often develop health problems as they age. Things like cancer, diabetes, heart disease, arthritis, etc. are all more common among older pets than their younger counterparts. We recommend bringing your furry friend in for wellness and preventative care every six months or so, so we can keep an eye on their health, monitor for early warning signs of disease and provide age-appropriate care. Staying on top of your aging pet’s health allows us to detect and treat problems early, which is typically much more affordable and effective than treating late-stage illnesses.
